This City of Fitchburg project was designed to increase safety for pedestrians, bicyclists, and vehicles turning into numerous access points throughout this busy commercial area. Safer crosswalks with new pedestrian signals, audible push buttons, and improved lighting are just a few of the new technologies used in this project to improve access for the community.

The first phase of the Powerline Trail in the City of Greenfield is officially open. Serving as one leg of the Route of the Badger trail in SE Wisconsin, this trail will ultimately provide a path all the way to Lake Michigan! A ribbon-cutting was held on October 4 for the WIS 23 reconstruction project near Fond du Lac. The new road expands WIS 23 to a four-lane divided highway with new interchanges improving mobility and safety. KL Engineering is proud to have provided the construction engineering services for this beneficial project.
