2023 WisDOT Excellence Award Winner

KL Engineering is honored to be a 2023 WisDOT Excellence in Highway Design Award Winner in the Urban Design category. The award was presented at the 2023 Transportation Improvement Conference for the STH 26 Interchange in the City of Janesville. This important reconstruction project added Wisconsin’s third Diverging Diamond Interchange (DDI) on STH 26 and doubled the traffic capacity of I-39/90 from US 14 to Kennedy Road. Additionally, the project enhanced safety and provided unique elements that benefit motorists, bicyclists, pedestrians, businesses, and the natural environment.
