KL’s Kevin Wehner, Shelby Hiltgen, and Mike Scarmon are attending the ITE Traffic Engineering Workshop & Transportation Planning Forum at Waukesha County Technical College today. The event will review case studies, new technologies, current issues, and proven approaches to transportation projects and offer a chance to network with colleagues.

KL’s Lori Green, Brad Halvensleben, Chad Halverson, and Gerry Schmitt are attending the 2024 Annual DBE Workshop & Networking Summit in the Wisconsin Dells this week. Lori will be monitoring 3 sessions at the event — Burnout Busters: Engineering Resilience, Emerging Technologies in Highway Construction, and Hot Topics in the Engineering Industry.

Jesse Schreiner, Mike Scarmon, and Matt Regnier are attending the ACEC Legislative Day in Madison today. They will connect with legislators to discuss initiatives that will be important to the 2024 election cycle. This event is an opportunity to highlight the human impact of engineering in Wisconsin and learn how election results impact legislation.

KL’s Jack Laning and Travis Brush attended the WCPA Annual Concrete Paving Conference last week. It was a great opportunity for further education and to refresh their expertise.

KL’s Kristy Treichel is heading to the 21st NASECA-WI Annual Conference today. This is the state’s largest event focused solely on erosion control and stormwater management. Engineers are given the opportunity to learn about regulatory topics, best management practices, project reviews, and more.

KL’s Chris Halverson and Karen Richardson will be attending the RENEW Wisconsin Summit today at the Monona Terrace in Madison, WI. They will hear from leading experts in Clean Energy and expand their knowledge about renewable energy.
