KL Engineering’s Chad Halverson volunteers at the Middleton Outreach Ministry (MOM) food pantry. He helps with the drive-up food distribution. KL Engineering’s Chris Ehlert travels to Honduras each year to serve with Honduras Well Projects in conjunction with Agua Viva International. In 2022, he worked in northern Honduras, restoring and repairing 7 wells and drilling 1 new well. Part of the program includes teaching hygiene in the village and how to properly clean their water containers. #EngineersGiveBack Click this link to watch

Joshua Melby and Matt Regnier got the opportunity to speak to Dr. Field’s senior level Highway Engineering class this week – the same class they took nearly 13 years ago! They shared project examples and interviewing advice for students, as they decide where to start their careers upon graduating from UW-Platteville.
KL staff had a great time celebrating the life of Dick Bednar at the first annual Strokes for Strokes Golf Tournament in Birchwood, WI last Friday. Dick was an important member or our Menomonie Construction team and is dearly missed. The event raised funds for the American Heart Association – Stroke Research and Education Program,

KL’s Samantha Herheim & Jesse Schreiner spent a beautiful day at the 21st Annual Fitchburg Chamber Golf Outing on Monday. KL sponsored the 12th hole, where we had a longest drive competition with a kids driver. It was a blast!
The KL crew had a ‘choose your own adventure’ group ride this week – a 4-mile route or a 6-mile route – with all roads leading to the Hop Haus. The weather was great and the company even better! A nice way to end #BikeToWorkWeek — Might we detect a new KL tradition?!
It was a beautiful morning to #BikeToWork. We had two groups of staff who met up and biked in together. It was a great bonding experience for coworkers. We feel fortunate to live in an area that has made such an investment in bike transportation!
