KL Engineering’s Samantha Herheim, Jamie Dalheim, Lance Williston and Scott Cramer were honored to be guests at Savanna Oaks Middle School to discuss Passion Project ideas in engineering with Ms. Holzum’s 8th graders. We were inspired by their knowledge and curiosity!
Many thanks to the City of Madison for entrusting KL Engineering with the design of Garver Path. This path connects the Capital City Trail, Garver Feed Mill, Starkweather Drive, O.B. Aerial photography is a great way to showcase the positive impact projects have on communities. Congratulations to KL’s Jim Dzienkowski, who recently became a FAA Certified UAS Pilot! We’re pleased to now have 4 pilots on staff at KL.
We’re grateful to be a part of the North Mendota Trail project in Middleton, Wisconsin. KL provided design and construction oversight for this 1-mile trail that runs along CTH M between Branch Street and Highland Way. KL Engineering brought home the 2022 WisDOT Excellence in Highway Design Award for Best Urban Design. The USH 51 project improved Wisconsin & Dewitt Streets in the City of Portage, providing safety and better accommodations for traffic, business, pedestrians, bicycles, and even canoes! This complex project involved ADA connections to the Wisconsin River Levee Trail,
