Excited for KL’s Mike Scarmon to join fellow professionals at the WEDA Academy to explore how tax increment financing (TIF) is revitalizing downtowns across Wisconsin. Attendees will learn from the success stories in Beloit and Waukesha. Huge thanks to the Wisconsin Economic Development Association and the Wisconsin Downtown Action Council for hosting this impactful session!

Many thanks to Mike Baldwin from Madison College for sharing his thought-provoking presentation on multiple generations in the workplace during our second quarter meeting. We concluded with a fun game of Generational Jeopardy to win prizes of timeless treats and old-school band merch. Always good to get the team together!

Today, Ron Geater from Motz Enterprises, Inc. came to KL to present about designing projects with effective erosion and sediment control solutions using Flexamat. Flexamat is a flexible hard armor system that enables vegetation to become fully established, while creating an armor against future erosion. Thanks for your time and educating our staff!

Nathan Rullman is attending the ASCE Spring Technical Conference on April 18th. At the conference, attendees will learn from experts in transportation, structural, environmental, and geotechnical engineering in multiple technical sessions.
