A warm welcome to our new Traffic Counters for this summer’s data collection! They will be based out of the Menomonie office and working mostly in the NW Region this summer. Ben Ehlert will be starting at UW-Platteville in the fall. Nathan Berends is a student at UW-La Crosse. Elijah Schoene currently attends UW-La Crosse.
Hat’s off to KL’s Chris Ehlert for completing the Bridge2Bridge-Sweet 16 Challenge, part of the Eau Claire Marathon Series earlier this month. This 16 mile event involves a 1-mile and a 5-mile run on Saturday, then a 10-mile run on Sunday morning. Participants were encouraged to dress brightly for the 5-mile race held at twilight

Kailey DeVault joined our Madison Construction Team this week for the start of her summer internship with KL. She just finished her second year at UW-Madison’s Civil & Environmental Engineering program. Kailey has interned with the City of Madison’s Engineering Division as a Construction Inspector and is a member of the Society of Women’s Engineers
We are excited to have Cole Portman return for another summer in KL’s internship program. He will continue his work with our construction team in Menomonie, WI. Cole is currently an civil engineering student at UW-Stout. Welcome back, Cole!
