National Roundabout Week – Day 5
Tasked with designing over 20 complex roundabout concepts for the IH 41 Planning Study was no problem for KL’s roundabout design team led by Matt Regnier and Kyle Thompson. #RoundaboutsWeek

Teaming up with the City of Eau Claire for this project, this compact dual lane roundabout tested the skills of KL’s roundabout team due to steep grades, complex traffic movements, and requirements to stay within the limits of City owned right-of-way. #RoundaboutsWeek

Striking a balance between size and function, KL designed this mini-roundabout to meet the needs of the City of Fitchburg’s neighborhoods, businesses, and the traveling public. #RoundaboutsWeek

Utilizing the unique geometry of roundabouts allowed the KL roundabout team to pull several skewed roadways together while avoiding impact to a nearby cemetery.
