June 11th is the International Day of Play! The theme this year is “Choose Play – Every Day.” “Play” is more than fun for children – it is essential to their development. KL Engineering has designed and executed many projects that give kids opportunities to play. One of those that is in progress is the Mendota County Park Redevelopment Project. KL Engineering designed the project plans and is currently overseeing construction. It is projected to be finished sometime in the fall. The park is going to have new accessible playground equipment and a nature play area. This will give children even more opportunities to choose play every day at Mendota County Park!
