The first week of September marks #ZeroWasteWeek—a time to reflect on our consumption habits and take meaningful steps toward a more sustainable lifestyle. It’s more than just an environmental gesture—it’s an opportunity to make long-lasting changes that benefit both the planet and our wallets.
At KL Engineering, sustainability isn’t just a buzzword—it’s part of how we give back. Each year, our team participates in the Adopt-a-Highway program, helping to keep Wisconsin’s roadways clean and beautiful.
“We’ve had a pretty consistent group since 2019,” said Brian St. Vincent, who helps organize the effort. “We picked up a total of 28 bags of trash this year from my count.”
Thank you to everyone who has helped with the cleanup! Your efforts directly support the spirit of Zero Waste Week—reducing litter, promoting environmental stewardship, and making our communities better places to live.
