As our summer internship program wraps up, we’re proud to reflect on the hands-on experience our interns gain from day one. Whether it’s supervising field crews or diving into the technical details of a project, our interns are immersed in real-world engineering work that builds both skill and confidence. Ryan Wheeler gained experience working with a pipe crew on one of the jobs he was assisting with this summer.
Ryan shared:
“A highlight of the summer has been supervising the pipe crew and learning how much attention to detail goes into a project. I’ve liked working for KL. Everyone at KL was welcoming and willing to help me learn more every day. It has really helped me grow as an engineer.”
