KL Engineering provides our summer interns with hands-on opportunities to experience engineering through real-world projects. This summer, Ashlyn Leibfried joined us as a construction intern, contributing to multiple job sites and gaining valuable field experience.
Reflecting on her time with us, Ashlyn shared:
“Over the span of the summer, I learned that people are more than willing to help you—you just have to ask the questions. You need to treat everyone with respect, and they will treat you the same way. My supervisor, Aaron Passow, was super helpful and patient. I asked a lot of questions, even when they seemed rudimentary. His patience allowed me to put together all the pieces and form a concrete understanding of everything.”
