KL Engineering assisted with the reconstruction of a 1.7-mile urban section of STH 116 (Main Street) in the Village of Winneconne, WI. KL Engineering provided lighting and electrical service design for the entire corridor, a parking lot, the riverside pathway system, and two fishing piers. The corridor included a bridge over the Wolf River, which required structure-mounted street lighting, as well as navigational channel lights for safely directing boaters.

The riverside pathway system included a trail system that allowed pedestrians to travel underneath the highway to the river’s edge. The trail also connected to a fishing pier which included matching decorative lighting, as well as maintenance receptacles for covered pavilions. Pedestrian-sized acorn lighting and lighted bollards were provided for the entire trail system and fishing piers, including wall packs underneath the highway.
