KL Engineering completed the design for the reconstruction and expansion of 2.5 miles of STH 67 from Blue Ribbon Drive to Thackeray Trail in the Village of Summit and City of Oconomowoc in Waukesha County, WI. The project reconstructed and expanded STH 67 from a 4-lane rural roadway to a 6-/8-lane transitional roadway from IH 94 to Robruck Drive.

The design of this project included traffic analysis, intersection control evaluation reports, sidewalk, bike lanes, multi-use path, drainage/storm sewer analysis and design, traffic control staging plans, transportation management plan (TMP), environmental documentation, design study report (DSR), public involvement, utility coordination, and a project plat.

KL Engineering coordinated with the City of Oconomowoc, Waukesha County, Village of Summit, and the Pabst Farms development on specific design details, bike/pedestrian accommodations through the corridor including a multi-use tunnel under STH 67, and incorporation of aesthetic elements into the project.
