Fish Hatchery Road and Greenway Cross Intersection in Fitchburg, Wisconsin
KL Engineering designed improvements for a 1.5-mile reconstruction project along North Fish Hatchery Road between CTH PD and the West Madison Beltline.

The project included safety and capacity updates to multiple intersections, an extensive public involvement campaign, and a comprehensive drainage analysis for the roadway storm sewer system. This heavily traveled, multi-lane urban roadway was constructed under traffic requiring a complex construction staging and traffic control plan. Other project features included repairing underground infrastructure, traffic signals, lighting, streetscaping, retaining walls, a mini-roundabout, developing a project plat and real estate acquisition.
