Hope Archer Solves Practical Problems

Women in Construction Week, powered by National Association of Women in Construction, is an opportunity to spotlight the accomplishments of women in the build industry and highlight their value.

Hope Archer is an Engineering Tech based in our Madison office. Hope said that her strengths in problem solving inspired her to choose this career path. “In college, I enjoyed learning how things work and how they’re put together. I also loved solving practical problems that don’t always have straightforward answers.” Hope was hired full time in 2025 after graduating from Madison College with her Associate’s Degree in Civil Engineering Technology. She worked at KL for the two years prior through a co-op internship.

Hope’s advice to the next generation of women in construction is to “challenge yourself to learn new skills and believe in your ability to succeed. Never be afraid to ask questions.”

Many thanks to all the women working in construction who strengthen our industry and communities every day.
