Lower Yahara River Trail Phase 2 Ribbon Cutting 2024

Graphic with a photo of the ribbon being cut on the bottom, our staff in upper left corner and a project photo in upper left corner with project title and KL logo.

Lower Yahara River Trail and Fish Camp opened a few weeks ago and the ribbon cutting took place this week. Members of KL’s design team and the folks who did construction oversight for the project were there to celebrate this event. The project had a focus on including people of all ages and abilities, so that all can enjoy the beauty of our state. There was also special attention paid to the ecological impact of the project, which was mentioned in speeches at the event.

We are honored to have worked with Dane County Parks, “Friends of Lake Kegonsa” (FOLKs), and Acess Ability Wisconsin throughout this project and look forward to future projects together!

Pictured are KL’s Brian St. Vincent, Samantha Herheim, Bill Biesman, Cole Hernikl, Aaron Passow, and Jesse Schreiner.
