Some of Garver Path was constructed in 2021 and was open for users in the fall. The connection to Milwaukee Street remained closed over the winter. This area is wetland surrounded by highly compressible, spongy soils. Leaving this closed provides time for soil compression at the bridge approaches. Paving will happen this spring, and the Garver Path in its entirety will be open this summer. Thanks to City of Madison for partnering with us on this project!
