There can be the option to consider a part-time school year arrangement, full-time summer and/or a full-time semester-based Coop. KL Engineering is an award- winning Wisconsin-based civil engineering consulting firm headquartered in Madison, with additional offices in Menomonie, Green Bay, and Germantown. We provide our clients with a full range of services that include transportation engineering, planning and design, structural engineering, traffic engineering, site design, parks/trails/recreation design, municipal and utility design, environmental studies, surveying/GIS, and construction management.
Qualified candidates will be working toward a B.S. or a M.S. in Civil Engineering or an A.S. in Civil Engineering Technology, with interest in or focus on traffic engineering, roadway design, structural engineering, site design, construction management, field survey, and CAD/mapping incorporating various engineering principles in the analysis, design, and construction of civil engineering projects. Entry-level knowledge of CAD software is desirable.
Working under the direction of our Project Leaders and Senior Engineers, responsibilities may include traffic counts, traffic analyses, field reviews, CAD drafting, quantity and estimate computations, computer modeling, field survey, construction inspection, and miscellaneous design tasks.
