What You'll Do:
- Field Surveying: Assist with on-site data collection for control, property, topographic, site, utility, and construction surveys.
- Mapping & Analysis: Support the creation of ALTA surveys, certified survey maps (CSMs), plats of survey, and official maps.
- Specialty Surveys: Participate in unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) operations and other advanced survey techniques.
- GIS & Plats: Utilize Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for mapping and spatial analysis, and contribute to transportation project plats, legal descriptions, and easement exhibits.
- Documentation: Prepare or assist in preparing project reports, plans, and specifications.
- Problem Solving: Research and resolve design or construction-related concerns encountered in the field.
What We're Looking For:
- Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, Surveying, or a related field.
- Skills: Proficiency in surveying equipment and software, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.
- Mindset: Positive attitude, strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a desire to contribute to a team-oriented environment.
- Mobility: Ability to work outdoors and on construction sites, lift 20–60 lbs., and maintain a clean driving record.
- Travel: Willingness to travel regularly to project sites throughout Wisconsin.
