December 2024 Department of Transportation Conference

In December, members of our Parks, Trails, and Recreation team attended the United States Department of Transportation conference in DC. Gabrielle Jones, Josh Mercier, and Samantha Herheim were honored to attend the Thriving Communities Convening as representatives of the Forest County Potawatomi Tribe. The team learned about great work around the country happening through this program and heard many inspiring stories. What an exciting opportunity!
