#ThePowerOf Belonging – NPRM 2026

Graphic includes the "Power of Parks and Recreation" graphic on the top, as well as "before" and "after" photos of Badger Prairie County Park, with KL Engineering's logo with deep blue green accents.

July is Parks and Recreation Month, and we are highlighting some recent Parks, Trails, and Recreation projects that exemplify #ThePowerOf park patronage. Badger Prairie County Park, which recently celebrated a ribbon cutting at the end of June, shows us #ThePowerOf Belonging. Whether walking on the winding concrete paths, rolling on the playground, or biking on the bike path to the park, everyone can enjoy all the park has to offer.

KL was proud to contribute to the project’s design and support construction oversight efforts as a subconsultant to Damon Farber. The new playground, parking lot, and community structures are entirely ADA accessible, with a themed playground connecting to its location on the historical Ice Age Junction Trail. It is important for the park to be accessible to every child and family who wish to enjoy it.
