Cade McCullough and Dillon Elliott visited KL last week for a job shadowing opportunity. Cade is going into his senior year of high school and Dillon recently graduated and will be starting college next January. The two spent the morning with KL’s Dean Long, visiting several construction sites in Madison, McFarland, and Fitchburg. Then they headed to the Madison office to get a taste of engineering design work. They toured the office, sat with our designers to watch them work, and gathered insight about college course work and how it translates to life on the job.
Many thanks to Natalie McCraw, Nathan Rullman, Jaden Neumann, Andy Simon, Chris Halverson, Jason Voelker, Dean Long, and Cindy Morel for making a positive impression of our profession for these two students. Cade and Dillon said they really enjoyed their time at KL and that it helped boost their interest in civil engineering as a career.
