Bikes for Kids

KL’s Karen Richardson, Bill Biesmann, Chad Halverson, and Brad Halvensleben volunteered at Bikes for Kids Wisconsin last week. This organization gives away over 2000 bikes each Spring! Our team had a great time helping clean and make minor mechanical adjustments to the bikes that have been donated. Bikes are still needed! Check out their website to learn how you can help by donating your old bikes, making a financial contribution, or volunteering your time. They still need volunteers at the Spring give away in Madison (3 Saturdays mornings: 4/27, 5/4 or 5/11). It’s so fun to see the excitement of the kids and their families finding their new bikes.
