KL Engineering welcomes interns with a wide range of experience—some return for multiple summers, while others bring insights from previous roles or firms. Kyle East came to us with two prior internships in construction management, and this summer he had the opportunity to explore the collaborative nature of civil design work.
Reflecting on his experience, Kyle shared:
“I learned how civil design work in an office setting is different from construction management out in the field. The responsibilities in construction can feel isolating, which wasn’t the case in this role. My supervisors and other colleagues at KL were always available and willing to assist with my Civil3D questions.”
