Daniel Smith has been working this summer as a Lighting & Electrical Intern / Technician in our Madison and Germantown offices, under his supervisor Jake Joyal. He assisted with street lighting and electrical design projects, including site reviews, infrastructure design, circuiting, and capacity analysis.
When asked about his experience at KL, Daniel said, “I learned how much planning goes into each project. I think it’s cool how everyone collaborates to work on huge projects that take years to finish. The work environment at KL is very welcoming and everyone here is very friendly. I’ve never felt stranded at KL. There’s always someone willing to help with any questions. Even if they don’t know the answer, they get back to you. I really appreciated that.”
