KL Engineering’s Chad Halverson has been appointed to the Engineers Foundation of Wisconsin (EFW) Board of Directors. The EFW, sponsored by the Wisconsin Society of Professional Engineers, provides scholarships to outstanding Wisconsin high school students pursuing engineering degrees. Chad recently had the opportunity to present a scholarship to Nathan Scarmon (son of KL’s Mike Scarmon) at Evansville Scholarship Night on May 20.
Chad has been actively involved with the Wisconsin Society of Professional Engineers – Southwest Chapter (WSPE) as scholarship coordinator, helping review and award scholarships to students pursuing engineering careers. He says one of the most rewarding parts of his career is mentoring young professionals and supporting the next generation of engineers.
