Select Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Conduct on-site construction observation activities, serving as the on-site project representative
- Perform inspection and materials testing, measure, and record quantities
- Maintain material records and construction documents for legal recordkeeping
- Ensure the project is constructed according to the plans and specifications, monitoring contractor schedules
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering
- Experience in the construction and design of transportation infrastructure (new graduates considered, FE Exam completion preferred)
- Proficiency in transportation design/drafting software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or MicroStation
- Previous experience on transportation projects (WisDOT experience is a plus!)
