Your key responsibility includes:
• Read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Conduct on-site construction observation activities, serving as the on-site project representative.
• Perform inspection and materials testing and measure and record quantities.
• Maintain material records and construction documents for legal recordkeeping.
• Ensure the project is constructed according to the plans and specifications, monitoring contractor schedules.
Your background includes:
• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
• Work experience in the construction and design of transportation infrastructure. New graduates will also be considered with successful completion of the FE Exam preferred.
• Experience with transportation design/drafting software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or MicroStation.
• Previous experience on transportation projects (WisDOT experience is a plus).
