What we’re looking for:
• Interest or experience in transportation design
• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering
• FE/EIT certification or PE license
• Proficiency in transportation design/drafting software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation)
• Experience with transportation projects (WisDOT experience is a plus!)
Your key responsibilities include:
• Prepare engineering and design documents, including project plans and specifications for roadway, drainage, and geometric design
• Conduct engineering computations and quantity estimates
• Prepare or modify reports, presentations, construction schedules, environmental studies, applications, and permits
