KL Engineering is pleased to announce expanded ownership of the firm. On July 1, 2018, Scott Cramer and Ryan Schanhofer, PE became shareholders of KL Engineering, Inc.
Scott Cramer, Chief Operating Officer, joined the firm in 2000 as an Environmental Specialist and quickly became an instrumental part of the management team. He leads KL with deeply rooted integrity balanced with a drive to have fun. He is a natural born coach, keeping company initiatives on track while holding true to KL’s core values.
Ryan Schanhofer, Senior Vice President, joined the firm in 2009 and most recently oversaw Construction Services for the company. He has 20 years of experience delivering transportation projects, including serving as the Project Leader for the North Segment of the IH 41 Corridor Expansion project in Brown County, Wisconsin, with construction costs around $170 million.
Kim M. Lobdell, PE plans to continue maintaining majority ownership for the coming years and welcomes Scott and Ryan into the executive management of the firm. The three shareholders will work to maintain the company values and work ethic, for which KL is well known, while developing into new markets and locations.
KL Engineering was incorporated in 1991 by Kim Lobdell. She has been the sole owner during the company’s growth to 65+ employees in three offices throughout Wisconsin.
