KL was well represented at the APWA Fall Conference last week! Todd Halvensleben, Brad Cunningham, Brandon Mackesey and Gerry Schmitt attended along with Brad Domasky and Bill Biesmann. Brad Cunningham and Gerry Schmitt shared the story behind the CTH M Reconstruction Project, while Brad Domasky and Bill Biesmann highlighted the successes and lessons learned from the CTH D Causeway Reconstruction Project. Both projects have been honored with multiple awards this year!
The conference provided an excellent opportunity to connect with public works professionals from across Wisconsin, as well as fellow engineering industry leaders. Attendees participated in informative breakout sessions and even had the chance to take part in a curling event at the Omni Center, which welcomed participants of all skill levels.
It was an energizing event filled with valuable networking, knowledge sharing, and discussions about the successes and challenges facing public works today. We left inspired by the perspectives of presenters and attendees alike and look forward to attending again next year!
