KL Engineering really shined at last night’s ASCE Wisconsin Annual Meeting! Three KL projects received recognition, winning three of the four 2026 ASCE Wisconsin Engineering Achievement Awards given at the awards banquet. KL’s Gerry Schmitt, Brad Domasky, and Joshua Melby were in attendance to accept the awards for the CTH M Reconstruction, CTH D Causeway Reconstruction, and Sparta Rest Area projects respectively. Congratulations to the winner of the fourth award, Ramboll, for the Dredged Material Management Facility project in the Port of Milwaukee. KL was a subcontractor for construction survey and monitoring by drone for the project, working with Michels, Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District, and Port of Milwaukee.
