Since 2023, Kim Tollers has been a valued member of the KL Engineering team. As she prepares to retire this year, we want to recognize the positive impact she has had on our organization. Her knowledge, experience, and willingness to help have been greatly appreciated by our team.

Prior to joining KL Engineering, Kim spent 28 years with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) as a Program and Policy Analyst. In that role, she managed WisDOT-owned railroad corridors throughout Wisconsin, developing extensive expertise in railroad abandonments, railroad real estate law and history, rails-to-trails planning, rail asset management, and rail safety initiatives. Her insight and experience have been a valuable resource on railroad-related projects and proposals.

Kim is known for her strong work ethic, positive attitude, and collaborative approach. When she joined KL as a consultant, she quickly became a trusted resource and team member. At a time when KL had limited experience with railroad-related work, Kim helped strengthen our understanding of this specialized field and provided guidance that benefited both our staff and our clients.

Beyond her project work, Kim has been committed to sharing her knowledge with others. In recent months, she has taken the time to mentor KL staff and help ensure a smooth transition as she moves into retirement. Her willingness to support those around her has made a lasting impression.

We are grateful for Kim’s contributions during her time with KL Engineering and wish her all the best in her well-earned retirement. We thank her for the expertise, professionalism, and support she has brought to our team.
