The third week of September is National Construction Appreciation Week. Throughout the year, KL Engineering’s construction teams work throughout Wisconsin and across state lines, providing A Better Experience for our clients. One of the projects we are involved in, 8.4 miles of Interstate 94 between the U.S. 53 interchange and Mallard Road, has reached its halfway point to completion. Western Builder wrote an article about this effort, highlighting the many challenges that the team has overcome. Jim Dzienkowski is KL Engineering’s Discipline Leader of Construction Services in our Menomonie office, and is the Project Engineer on the job. “Jim and his team are managing this complicated, multi-year project, and are constantly adjusting to weather and field conditions to keep work progressing on schedule. They overcome challenges every day and they do a great job covering for each other and watching each other’s backs.” Said Chris Ehlert, Director of Construction Services at KL Engineering.

“The hard work our construction teams from all of our offices do in the field every day contributes to our reliable reputation,” Chris said. “Many members of the construction team have been pushing hard and have a hard push remaining this season, but what they do and the attitude they do it with really makes a difference.”

We are proud of our team members and greatly appreciate their efforts, this week and every week!
