What You'll Do:
- Design & Support: Assist in preparing project plans, specifications, and cost estimates for a wide range of site and utility projects using Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
- Model & Analyze: Support stormwater management modeling, permitting, and agency coordination.
- Observe & Learn: Participate in construction observation and administration, including reviewing contractor submittals, RFIs, and pay requests.
- Collaborate & Grow: Work closely with project managers and senior engineers to understand project delivery processes and client communication.
- Contribute & Innovate: Be part of a team that delivers creative, efficient, and sustainable solutions for public and private clients.
What We're Looking For:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (or expected within 6 months).
- Experience: 1–5 years of experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D; internship or co-op experience preferred.
- Skills: Strong communication, organization, and time management skills; proficiency in MS Office; self-motivated and detail oriented.
- Mindset: Eagerness to learn, collaborate, and pursue Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel to project sites in and around Wisconsin.
Bonus Qualifications:
- Exposure to stormwater design tools like HydroCAD or WinSLAMM.
- Familiarity with land development and municipal design procedures.
- Knowledge of DOA, DFD, and DNR standards and procedures.
