Congratulations to KL’s Brad Domasky – one of ACEC Wisconsin’s Future Leaders Institute 2025 graduates! KL recommends engineers who are early in their career to join the program. After an application process, 24 engineers are accepted into the cohort each year. The program connects engineers to one another through a balance of social events and teaching leadership skills.

For Brad, the most impactful aspect of the leadership program was understanding himself as a leader. “After you take a personality assessment, you’re given the opportunity to understand how you can use your strengths in different situations,” Brad said. “My leadership style is dynamic depending on the situation. There are some team members who thrive with more autonomy, and some value consistent check-ins over the course of a project. It isn’t a one-size-fits-all approach. But the important part is being a resource for anybody who needs it.”

We hope Brad uses these skills he’s acquired in his current role at KL, and as his responsibilities and his role continue to change!
