Thank You Cooper Blazek!

Graphic with a circular photo in orange frame of Cooper working at his desk smiling, on a gray background with 'Thank you for your hard work this season' text and part of his quote from the post in white lettering.

Cooper Blazek’s path was set on aerospace engineering at first but this summer has opened his eyes to other types of engineering he hadn’t previously considered. “The biggest thing I learned this summer was how much communication can help the job workflow, as well as the work relationships. Your job doesn’t just have to be a place you come to work at. It can also be a place where you build relationships with people and do activities outside of work.”

While his summer internship is concluding this week, we’re excited to have him continue helping us remotely after he returns to the University of Alabama-Huntsville to continue his education. He gives this advice to interns and new employees, “People want to help you learn, so don’t be afraid to ask questions.” Cooper worked on a variety of civil engineering tasks, including CAD drafting, quantities and estimates, traffic analysis and design, modeling, construction oversight, and field survey.

We’re very grateful for your help, Cooper, and wish you all the best at school!
