Eau Claire Hy-Vee Traffic Impact Analysis

KL Engineering completed a traffic impact analysis (TIA) for a new Hy-Vee store on the east side of Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Improvements were identified with the TIA that included intersection modifications as well as improvements to the existing traffic signal at the intersection of USH 12 (Clairemont Avenue) with Fairfax Street. KL Engineering was subsequently engaged to complete the design and oversee construction of these improvements.
The TIA required extensive coordination with both the Wisconsin Department of Transportation and the City of Eau Claire to obtain approvals for the site and permits to complete the required public improvements.
